Acoustic Input for New Products

We help manufacturers develop new building products from the initial stages of design, through acoustic prediction and prototype testing, to product release. Advice at the concept stage can save time and money by predicting the likely acoustic hurdles and improving the product before costly testing.

Laboratory Testing Oversight

We provide expert oversight of acoustic laboratory testing. This can include developing a schedule of systems to test so the results are as comprehensive as possible, and giving advice on site during testing. Systems can then be adapted quickly so an optimised configuration is developed and tested within the scheduled laboratory time, which can avoid extra laboratory bookings.

Products We Have Worked On

Our product development work has included resilient partition studs, acoustic steel studs, aerated concrete wall and floor panels, glasswool insulation, magnesium oxide board, sealants, fire-rated doors, window and door seals, access panels, roof panels, pipe lagging, party wall systems and precast concrete floors, for manufacturers including Studco, CSR, Kilargo (Lorient), Pyrotek and Ultrafloor.
