PKA has been involved in concert and event monitoring since 1988. Our staff have monitored and reported on events at venues including the Sydney Football Stadium, Sydney Cricket Ground, Centennial Park, The Domain, the Royal Botanic Gardens, Olympic Stadium, Sydney Showground (Homebush), Parramatta Stadium and the Hordern Pavilion.

More Than Meeting the Consent

Good event monitoring protects the promoter against fines or prosecution, protects the health and wellbeing of the community, and protects the venue owner by keeping live events viable. Simply satisfying the consent conditions does not always protect these broader interests.

Event Logs That Prove Compliance

When monitoring relies on unattended devices or inexperienced staff, it is very hard to separate event noise from cars, boats, aircraft and other extraneous sources. We provide an event log of noise levels showing the observed contribution from the event, excluding extraneous noise, at each monitoring location.

These logs give our clients confidence that the required levels have actually been achieved, and clear evidence if compliance is ever disputed.
