Planning Compliance Reports

Acoustic reports for development applications and construction certificates, written to satisfy Council while giving you a practical plan to work with.

Acoustic Reports for Planning Approval

Councils and other consent authorities often require an acoustic report before they approve a development. We prepare reports for development applications and construction certificates that address the relevant criteria and give you practical recommendations.

Typical Planning Reports

We prepare reports for air conditioners and pool pumps, homes and renovations near major roads and railways, child care centres, licensed premises, sporting facilities, animal facilities such as boarding kennels and veterinary clinics, and residential subdivisions near transport corridors, where we use 3D noise modelling to predict noise across the site.

Construction Noise Management Plans

Many Councils now require a Construction Noise Management Plan, or a Construction Noise and Vibration Management Plan, for a development application or construction certificate. Based on your construction staging, duration and plant, we predict noise levels at sensitive receivers and recommend management strategies, including complaint handling.

The result is a plan that satisfies Council and is genuinely useful for managing noise on your site. Different criteria often apply to different parts of the same project, and we make sure each one is clearly understood so you are not left with undue restrictions or expense.
